The Role of the Dentist

In your daily work, you will meet patients of all ages and backgrounds. You will perform everything from simple examinations to more advanced treatments on your patients. Therefore, you will utilize your entire professional competence while the position also requires both curiosity and empathy. We have also begun the journey towards a more digital flow, which is reflected in new working methods such as digital care meetings.

As a dentist with us at Folktandvården Region Jönköpings län, you play an important role in our public health-promoting work. You work closely with other colleagues at the clinic. You are the one who conducts the long-term overall assessment of the patient.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed dentist with an interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry. Perhaps you are newly graduated, or you have already gained some work experience? Regardless, we believe you enjoy interacting with people, both patients and colleagues, and are keen to provide good service and a warm welcome.

If you are newly graduated, you will receive tailored supervision where you are also expected to be curious and ask many questions. You will also be part of our development program, together with other newly graduated dentists in the region. If you have work experience, we hope you can share your knowledge. As a person, we believe you are confident, quality-conscious, and a true team player. We believe you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form. A driver's license is an advantage as travel may occur in the job.
